Isatech Software has announced Search GT 2.2, an add-on to Windows OS that searches
faster and deeper than the search feature built into Windows.

The key benefit of Search GT is that it searches up to 100x faster than the Windows
native search engine. Most searches are completed in 1-2 seconds. Search GT is fully
integrated into Windows Explorer, and duplicates Windows File Search functionality.
You start the search and get the search results within the Windows Explorer window.
You already know how to use Search GT.

Search GT works transparently without any performance footprint on the operating
system. It uses system resources only while the user is searching. Another best
thing about Search GT is that it doesn\'t run in the background and doesn\'t write
anything to the hard drive, except for user search settings.

Search GT enhances file search experience for almost anyone. As an ordinary user,
you may want to use it to find a file even if you know where it is located because
starting a search from the root of the drive is often faster than browsing to the
desired folder. The program is very useful for system administrators, who can use it
to search drives with very high number of files (over a million). Usually file
searches take enormous amount of time on such large volumes, but Search GT handles
them in seconds.

Advanced users may want to use Search GT to find a virus or a rootkit that is hiding
itself by hijacking Windows system libraries. Because Search GT scans NTFS disks
directly, it finds any file on the hard disk. Plus, because Search GT works in
real-time, search results are always \"up-to-date\". This means that file system
changes (added/removed files, changed file names, etc.) are immediately reflected in
the search results window as they occur.

New release 2.2 includes custom search filters and allows to save the search results
to a text file.
